# Beyond Reliable Conflict Minerals Declaration

NN, Inc. (“NN”) is aware of the Dodd-Frank Act (“the Act”) regarding purchasing minerals or their derivatives determined by the US Secretary of State to be financing the conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and adjoining countries. NN supports the Act and understands the importance of this issue in light of well-documented events in the region.

We wish to notify our customers and potential customers that NN has procedures in place to help ensure that our suppliers comply with the expectations outlined in the Act. In support of this, we have asked our suppliers to continuously monitor supply chains to avoid procurement of materials from conflict regions, and to be forthright in sharing their compliance information with us.
