EMPOWERMENT COMES STANDARD
IN EVERY ROLE
At NN, your career path can take many different routes—each offering growth opportunities, competitive salary and benefits, and the ability to access a global work environment.
From the production floor to the corner office, empowerment is a cornerstone of the NN culture. Everywhere, every day, accountability rests at the most logical level. Every production employee has the ability—the responsibility—to stop the line if he or she sees something that doesn’t meet our standards. It’s a small distinction that makes a big difference; at each level,
employees behave as if the company is their own. How better to ensure we are doing right by our customers, our communities, and the environment?
Whether you’re just starting out or are looking to change or advance your career, NN’s success is based on its talented, empowered team. If you’re motivated to achieve success, serve customers, and care for the communities in which we work and live, then NN is the place for you.
NN, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
PROGRAMS THAT HELP YOU GET AHEAD
Developing new skills is a winning proposition for everyone. When employees are proficient in multiple roles, the company is better able to address customer needs and scheduling demands.
One example is NN’s Learn and Earn Program, which was developed in our Michigan sites and that other locations have begun piloting. NN partners with local schools to provide apprenticeships and cooperative education paths for students interested in machining, manufacturing, and maintenance roles. It operates in various forms based on the partner school and the site, but structurally each gives participants an opportunity to earn technical course credits or a degree while they work. This “learning in context” provides a variety of options to help employees develop technical skills through a combination of academic and on-the-job experiences. Click here to hear from an NN team member who successfully completed an apprenticeship under this program.
Some sites also offer Pay for Skills, which identifies a range of key manufacturing competencies that employees can voluntarily pursue. In exchange, those who demonstrate proficiency earn a higher hourly rate—whether or not they are working in that particular discipline.

BENEFITS THAT MATTER
At NN, the health and safety of our employees is paramount, as it is only through our people that we are able to execute our mission to provide high-quality products and superior customer service that continuously exceed our customers’ expectations. To ensure everyone shares this focus, we discuss safety at each internal operating review and town hall meeting.
NN is committed to offering competitive compensation and benefits, and we review these programs regularly to be sure that employees are rewarded in alignment with the market in their geography. Most employees also participate in a quarterly or annual incentive program, which supports NN’s annual objectives at the site, group, and enterprise level.
Further, to ensure that our employees have the information they need to do their jobs effectively, we also conduct regular plant communication meetings, and host periodic town hall calls to discuss recent results and upcoming activities. We invite questions from all team members and have a forum where employees may post questions for our presenters.
